Tips for cutting, gluing and filing capsules
To make your capsule installation as successful as possible, Maryton Nail Supply will show you the tips for cutting, gluing and filing capsules. Just keep reading!
Here are some tips and tricks:
• A well-adhered capsule is one that covers the break points while releasing the upper part of the natural nail. When gluing, watch out for air bubbles! Air bubbles could cause detachment or, even worse, nail fungus! To avoid air bubbles, a little tip is to apply downward pressure when gluing.
• Choose your cutting tool carefully. Don’t risk cutting a capsule with the first scissor or nail clipper you come across! Avoid any pressure when cutting.
• Your capsules will then need to be leveled and filed. The goal: to become one with the natural nail and give the nail the desired shape.
• Our advice: if the capsule is slightly wider than the natural nail, be sure to stretch the sides well, without releasing the break points. Avoid any excessive filing which would weaken the installation.
